Question: In Nutrition, Do You Get Paid Hourly, Salary, or Performance-Based?
Answer: It depends again, on where you see yourself in the field of nutrition. If you are wanting to work in hospitals, it’s probably more salary based where if you’re working with a health clinic or a wellness facility, fitness facility, it might be more of an hourly position. If you’re looking to draw boards of dietetic jobs, it’s going to be either hourly or salary.
Answer: It really depends on the company you’re working for and the format that your company works. For example, if you’re just working as a consultant where you consult with clients, they might only do hourly by the amount of people that you meet with each week, but there could be a salary as well, just depending on the job you have and who you’re working for when you’re working with. So usually it’s one of those two depending on the job. For the most part, clinically, you’d probably see hourly, most often in a hospital setting, but then outside of that, you’d see a salary.
